Migrating to MetaProfiles-IT
MetaProfiles-IT may be
temporarily used in conjunction
with existing local and roaming
profiles until the relevant data
have been completely exported
from these profiles. Users whose
data have been exported can then
be reconfigured to use a
mandatory profile.
Customizing additional settings
In addition to simulating the
behavior of roaming profiles,
MetaProfiles-IT allows
administrators to manipulate the
user’s registry (HKCU) during
logon. Also, a template-based
policy mechanism is available to
allow administrators to
configure application- and
environment-specific
registry-based preferences and
policies without the need to
implement Microsoft Group
Policies.
